DIMITAR YORDANOV APPOINTED NATIONAL DELEGATE FOR THE REPUBLIC OF BULGARIA

The Institute for Development of Security – European Police Agency Brussels (ASBL) is honored to announce the appointment of Mr. Dimitar Yordanov as National Delegate for the Republic of Bulgaria.

A graduate of the National Military Academy “Vasil Levski” and the Military Academy “G. S. Rakovski,” Mr. Yordanov has more than three decades of experience in the fields of intelligence, counterintelligence, counterterrorism, and national security.

Throughout his career, he has held senior positions within the Ministry of Defense, the Ministry of Interior, and the State Agency for National Security of Bulgaria (DANS), including serving as Director of DANS, with direct responsibility for counterintelligence, counterterrorism, financial security, and financial intelligence.

His strategic expertise, operational experience, and contribution to the protection of national security make him a highly respected figure in the security and intelligence community in Bulgaria.

Since 2014, he has been the founder and director of the security consulting company Intel Security Ltd.

The Institute for Development of Security – European Police Agency Brussels (ASBL) is pleased to rely on his exceptional experience to strengthen international cooperation in the fields of security, crime prevention, and the development of institutional partnerships across Europe.

ANNOUNCEMENT OF APPOINTMENT OF A NATIONAL DELEGATE FOR THE REPUBLIC OF CROATIA

Dear Sir/Madam,

It is my great pleasure to announce that on April 14, 2026, in my capacity as Director of the
Institute for Development of Security – European Police Agency – Brussels (ASBL),
I have made the decision to appoint a National Delegate for the Republic of Croatia.

By this decision, the following individual is appointed as National Delegate for the Republic of Croatia:

Prof. Dr. Goran Čogelja, Lead Consultant at an energy institute in the Republic of Croatia and former representative for energy security at the Energy Community Secretariat.

This appointment forms part of the organization’s strategic activities aimed at expanding its international presence, strengthening institutional cooperation, and developing professional networks in the field of security at the European level.

I am confident that, through his experience, professionalism, and international engagement, the appointed delegate will contribute to the successful implementation of the organization’s objectives and activities in the Republic of Croatia.

NOMINATION OF A NATIONAL DELEGATE FOR SERBIA

Today, April 3, 2026, an agreement was reached to appoint a national delegate for Serbia. This decision marks an important step in strengthening representation and cooperation.

APPOINTMENT OF A NATIONAL DELEGATE FOR NORTH MACEDONIA AND A SECRETARY GENERAL

By the present document, in my capacity as Director of
Institute for Development of Security – European Police Agency – Brussels (ASBL),
I hereby make the following appointments:

Appointment of a National Delegate for North Macedonia
Appointment of a Secretary General

These appointments are made within the framework of strengthening the organizational structure and further developing the organization’s activities at the international level.
