Across Europe and beyond, we are witnessing profound transformations in the field of security and policing. These developments require not only strong and professional public institutions, but also active, responsible, and well-organized civil society structures capable of complementing and supporting official efforts.

The role of non-governmental organizations in the field of security has never been more important. Through dialogue, training, international cooperation, and the exchange of best practices, NGOs contribute to strengthening professionalism, transparency, and trust between institutions and citizens.

I am proud to highlight the continuous development of cooperation between police professionals and partner organizations from Germany, Portugal, Denmark, Estonia, Slovakia, France, Slovenia, North Macedonia, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Montenegro, and Croatia. This constantly expanding network represents a solid foundation for a shared European security culture based on mutual respect, common values, and collective responsibility.

Our European Police Agency in Brussels remains fully committed to serving as a bridge between these national structures by facilitating communication, coordination, and strategic cooperation. Together, we are building a strong platform that supports high professional standards, joint initiatives, and long-term partnerships.
